Campus recruitment is a process through which the corporate (employer) organization recruits the required talent pool from the academic campuses. The selection process takes place in the final year of a programme for students of both undergraduate and post graduate courses. Over the years, campus recruitment has assumed greater significance in the minds of several stakeholders. The major stake hoIder”s recruitment process is Institution, Companies, Students and Parents.
Campus Recruitment and Placement System aim at providing the compatibility to simplify the process of placement for students. This is beneficial for college students, various companies visiting the campus for recruitment and even the college placement officer.

Key Objectives

  1. The main objective is to bridges the gap between corporates requirements and student’s knowledge and skillsets. To guide and provide right module of training that meets the industry needs and improve their employability skills.
  2. Maximum number of deserving students get on-campus placement to start their career with their dream company.
  3. The quality standard of the jobs is maintained.
  4. The whole team works according to the defined processes to achieve the common objective.

  • Conduct Soft Skills sessions & Campus Recruitment Training on regular basis
  • Develop contacts with recruiters and convince them to hire students from SGI for their training & final placement needs.
  • Regularly updating the Company database and maintaining necessary communications with company during recruitment drive.
  • Identify and recruit genuine placement agents to facilitate major recruitment drives on Campus.
  • Selection of Placement Coordinators
  • Update the Zonal Coordinator and KCG at regular intervals on the progress in T&P activities
  • Collect the resume from students.
  • Profile them and make necessary corrections (if any) and then punch it in students’ file and deliver it to T&P Cell team.
  • Act as a Channel of communication between students and T&P Cell
  • Verification & compilation of students’ company references.
  • Communicate with students on the companies visiting the campus for recruitment and arrange for initial preparatory interactions with T&P Cell.
  • Support in any other placement function as per needs & requirements and the directions of the Principal and KCG
The students can apply in any number of companies offering jobs in their specialization. Students should submit a soft copy of their CV to the T&P Cell before the start of placements.

All students seeking Placement Assistance are required to register for the same by providing additional information as required by T&P Cel I and also sign an undertaking in the prescribed format.

The student will also have to submit category wise preferences before the start of placement process. Students will get information and notifications related to the placements on the Portal as well as on email/ through SMS.

All the placement related information (including job profile, company profile, package details) will be shared with the students only through the Portal and/or email.
